A few of St. John’s mission activities include the Evans City Food Cupboard, Mission Barn, and Butler Food Distribution.

Our building is open for community use for non-profit groups like Blue Kangaroo Closet and NAMI.

We are now collecting peanut butter, bleach and dawn dish soap for the Jubilee Kitchen in Pittsburgh.  Items may be brought to the church.

We’re also collecting items for Church World Service Disaster Buckets.

Stop the Stigma

WISE Ministry

St. John’s United Church of Christ has voted to be a WISE Church.  WISE stands for Welcoming, Inclusive, Supportive, Engaged in the Mental Health Community.  We are partnering with NAMI Butler to provide ministry to people with Mental Illness and their families.  Our first goal is to educate our church family so we can better accept and welcome all.
